Junior SAP FI/CO Consultant Job Description Job Summary : As a Junior SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients to understand business requirements, configure the SAP system, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities : Implementation Support : Assist in the implementation and customization of SAP FI/CO modules. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. Collaborate with the development team to create functional specifications for required custom developments. Configuration and Customization : Configure SAP FI/CO modules based on business requirements. Support the development of system configurations, ensuring they meet business process requirements. Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT). Documentation : Prepare and maintain documentation on system configurations, processes, and procedures. Create user guides and training materials for end-users. Support and Maintenance : Provide first-line support for SAP FI/CO issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs. Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks. Training and User Support : Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure they effectively use the SAP FI/CO modules. Assist users with SAP FI/CO-related queries and problems. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in SAP FI/CO. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of financial accounting and controlling principles. Familiarity with SAP FI/CO modules is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business processes. Experience : 0-2 years of experience in SAP FI/CO or related fields. Experience with SAP ERP systems is a plus. Prior experience in finance or accounting roles is advantageous. Skills : Basic knowledge of SAP ERP systems. Understanding of financial accounting and management accounting principles. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Working Conditions : Full-time position. Office environment with occasional travel to client sites. Flexibility to work extra hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
